Automatic Detection with Review
SmartBlur detects configured face/head or body targets and applies the selected blur. Results depend on pose, size, lighting, occlusion, and model settings, so review every output before sharing it.
Batch Folder Processing
Add a folder to apply the same detection and blur settings across multiple images. Batch automation reduces repetitive setup, but each result should still be reviewed.
Four Blur Styles
Gaussian for smooth blur, Pixelated for mosaic effect, Solid fill for complete blackout, or Overlay to stamp a custom image over faces. Adjustable intensity on each.

Local Core Processing
Normal desktop image detection and blurring run on your supported Windows PC or Apple silicon Mac without uploading the source for AI processing. Download, activation, periodic license validation, feedback, and update checks are separate network-connected operations.
Hardware-Aware Processing
SmartBlur can use compatible NVIDIA, AMD, or integrated graphics and can fall back to CPU processing. Throughput varies with image size, target count, model, settings, and hardware.

Blur Type

Confidence Threshold
Separate sliders for face and body. Lower = more detections (including uncertain ones), higher = only confident matches.
Face Padding
Expand the blur region beyond the detected box to improve coverage around ears, hair, or chins.
Min Face Size
Ignore small detections below a % of frame height. Useful for blurring only people in the foreground, not distant pedestrians.
