Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using SmartBlur ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. These terms are between you and Hasantavision ("we," "us," or "our").

2. License Grant

Upon successful payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SmartBlur on the number of devices (seats) you purchased, subject to these terms.

  • Annual licenses include 1 year of software updates from the date of purchase. After the update period expires, the software continues to function at the last version you received, but you will not receive further updates unless you renew.
  • Lifetime licenses include all future updates for the purchased major version and any minor/patch releases.

3. License Key Restrictions

  • You may not share, sell, redistribute, or publish your license key.
  • You may not use a single-seat license on more than one machine simultaneously.
  • We reserve the right to revoke keys used in violation of these terms.
  • License verification requires a periodic internet connection. The software may phone home to validate your key.

4. Payments

  • All prices are listed in USD. Payments are processed by PayPal.
  • You may purchase multiple seats at a discounted per-seat rate as shown on the pricing page.
  • Coupon codes, if applicable, are applied at checkout and cannot be retroactively applied.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect existing licenses.

5. Renewals

  • Annual license holders may renew their update period for an additional year at the renewal price shown in-app.
  • Lifetime license holders do not need to renew.
  • Renewal extends your update window; it does not unlock additional seats.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not activated the license key. After activation, refunds are granted at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

SmartBlur and all associated branding, code, and documentation are the intellectual property of Hasantavision. You receive a license to use the software — not ownership of the software itself. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use SmartBlur to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the privacy or publicity rights of individuals in jurisdictions where such processing requires explicit consent that you have not obtained.
  • Produce or distribute misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Circumvent or interfere with the license verification system.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SmartBlur is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hasantavision shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use SmartBlur, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software license.

11. Termination

We may terminate your license if you breach these terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Software and cease use immediately.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hasantavision is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email (if we have your address) or posted on smartblur.app. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
