Processing a Video

  1. Drag and drop a video file onto SmartBlur, or click Browse Files.
  2. The app loads the video and begins AI detection on each frame.
  3. You'll see a live preview of the blur effect applied in real time.
  4. Configure blur settings while previewing.
  5. Click Process Video to render the final output.

Processing Options

Quality vs Speed

  • Fast mode — Processes at maximum speed, lower accuracy on fast-moving subjects.
  • Balanced (default) — Good accuracy with reasonable processing time.
  • High accuracy — Best detection quality, slower processing.

Output Settings

  • Codec — H.264 (default), H.265 (smaller file, slower encode)
  • Resolution — Same as source (default), or custom
  • Frame rate — Same as source (default)
  • Bitrate — Auto (recommended) or manual
  • Audio — Include original audio track (default: on)

Pause and Resume

You can pause video processing at any time:

  • Click Pause to stop processing.
  • Click Resume to continue from where you left off.
  • Progress is saved automatically.

Tips

  • Processing time depends on video length, resolution, and the number of faces per frame.
  • GPU acceleration significantly speeds up processing. Make sure GPU processing is enabled in Settings.
  • Preview before processing — Always check the preview on a few frames before committing to a full render.
