Accounts, Purchases, and Help

This guide covers SmartBlur Pocket for Android 1.0.4 (build 17). You can use its free photo tools and buy Pocket Pro without a SmartBlur account. A SmartBlur account is needed for cloud video and recovering your video-credit balance.

Your store account and SmartBlur account have different roles. Google Play handles Android purchases and eligible Pro restoration. Your SmartBlur account holds your cloud-video minutes. A desktop license does not unlock Pocket Pro.

Sign in to cloud video

  1. Open Settings and tap Sign in for cloud video.
  2. Choose Sign in with Google, or enter Email and Password and tap Sign in.
  3. If needed, use Create an account on smartblur.app, then return to Pocket.
  4. Check the email shown on the SmartBlur account screen before purchasing credits.

Use the same sign-in method you originally used on smartblur.app. If you registered through Google, choose Sign in with Google. Creating another account can leave you viewing a different credit balance.

When signed in, Settings shows Account · followed by your email. Open it to check your account or Sign out. Signing out removes this device's account session; it does not delete the account or request a refund.

Restore Pro or recover minutes

For a missing Pro unlock, confirm that Google Play is using the account that made the purchase. Connect to the internet and choose Settings → Restore purchases. This option also appears on the Pro screen when store purchases are available.

Cloud credits are recovered by signing in to the same SmartBlur account. Restoring purchases does not replenish minutes you already used or give another welcome grant. Pro itself does not include video minutes.

If prices or credit packs are missing, tap Retry store connection when offered. Confirm your Play account and connection before trying the purchase again. If payment completed but access or minutes are still missing, contact support with your app version, purchase date, account email, and store order reference. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

For credit usage and upload limits, read Video & Credits.

Request account deletion on Android

Open Settings → Account · your email → Request account deletion. In Android 1.0.4 (build 17), this opens an email draft to support; opening the draft does not submit the request. Review it and send it.

If no email app opens, email [email protected] with the subject SmartBlur account deletion request and your account email. Never include your password.

Support verifies ownership and confirms completion. The account is shared with smartblur.app, so deletion affects shared-account access and unused cloud credits. It does not request a Google Play refund or remove copies you exported elsewhere. State clearly if you want only Pocket cloud data removed. See the deletion policy for retained transaction records and the full consequences.

Keep your local copies

Pocket's Library is stored on this device, not synced through your SmartBlur account. Before uninstalling or clearing app data, export copies you need using Library → open a photo → Save to Photos or Share.

For editing and export help, see Photos & Review or Quick Start. Visit Support, the Pocket Privacy Policy, and the Pocket Terms for further help.
