SmartBlur 2 is one desktop application for Windows 10/11 x64 PCs and macOS 14+ Apple silicon M1–M5 Macs, with Free, Standard, and Pro feature levels. Standard is USD $29 for one year, including renewal. Pro Annual is USD $59 for the first year and renewal. Pro Lifetime is USD $199 once, with a lifetime Pro license and lifetime app updates, with no renewal.

Website license keys can activate the supported Windows or Mac website build. One license key allows one active desktop device at a time. The current Mac download is listed on the download page, with a signed and notarized Apple silicon DMG.

Choose Free for occasional light photo work. Choose Standard for regular image and video work, local webcam processing, and SmartBlur Camera in supported Windows or macOS website builds. Choose Pro for higher detection limits, all three models, plates, identity matching, RTSP/RTSPS input, and processed live recording on supported Windows and Mac devices. Pro Annual includes these features for one year; Pro Lifetime includes the same Pro features with lifetime access and app updates for a one-time payment.
What does a one-year license include?
A Standard or Pro annual website purchase includes one year of paid features and eligible updates. One desktop license allows one active supported Windows or Mac device at a time. You can deactivate the license before moving it to another computer, subject to its entitlement status.
When the paid term expires, SmartBlur returns to Free features until renewed. The saved key remains available for renewal.
What does Pro Lifetime include?
Pro Lifetime includes all Pro features, a license that never expires, and lifetime app updates for USD $199, paid once. It supports one active Windows or Mac website-build device at a time and does not require renewal. Choose Lifetime in Buy SmartBlur.
How does renewal work?
Renewal adds another year of paid access and eligible updates. Renewing early preserves unused time by extending from the current expiration date. Renewing after expiration starts a new one-year term when payment is confirmed.
Standard Annual renewal remains USD $29. Pro Annual renewal is USD $59. Pro Lifetime does not require renewal. Use Renew SmartBlur and enter the license key.
What happens to legacy lifetime licenses?
Existing legacy lifetime licenses remain lifetime under their original terms; they are not converted into one-year licenses. If a legacy license has a limited update period, renewal changes only that update expiration date. New Pro Lifetime purchases include both lifetime access and lifetime updates.
Does SmartBlur Camera work in every installer?
No. SmartBlur Camera output is available with Standard and Pro in supported Windows and macOS builds downloaded from the SmartBlur website. The Microsoft Store package does not include SmartBlur Camera on any plan. See Webcam, RTSP & SmartBlur Camera.
Is SmartBlur a legal-compliance guarantee?
No. SmartBlur supports privacy and redaction workflows, but it does not guarantee GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or other legal compliance by itself. Configure the appropriate targets, protect source and output files, and perform a human review before high-risk publication or disclosure.
